Blessing Food … For Real!

Blessing FoodMy partner Maeikisala and I had dinner with her friend Marsha recently. Marsha seemed surprised that, after I finished saying the pre-meal blessing, we didn’t dig into our food right away. Instead, Maeikisala and I kept our palms directed at the food a few seconds longer. Noticing Marsha’s puzzled expression, I said, “Hang on, it needs a few more seconds.”

If you’re energetically sensitive, it’s important to stay constantly vigilant – not just to the physical world, but to the invisible energies that permeate it. If I’m blessing food, it’s not just a rote recitation. A part of me merges with the food, and is feeling any unhealthy energy being cleared or transmuted by the blessing’s dynamic energy. In fact, it’s not uncommon for me to belch during a blessing … a sign that some of the negative energy is being transmuted through my physical body.

Food that’s high vibration to start with, especially if it’s been prepared by a loving, conscious being like Maeikisala, might bless up almost instantly. Unhealthy food prepared by cooks who aren’t energetically sensitive can take much longer, if it can be effectively blessed at all!

For example, the other day I was tempted by some chocolate covered pretzels. These were bad medicine for me because of my body’s negative reactions to gluten and cane sugar. But I was jonesing for some chocolate, and finally pulled one out of the bag.

However, when I tried to bless the pretzel, I immediately broke out in a loud coughing fit. The message from my inner wisdom was clear: This food cannot be brought into harmony with your body. Don’t even try! Lesson learned, I sheepishly slipped the pretzel back into the bag.

I uses a variety of food blessings. Here’s one you might find helpful:

“I give thanks for this food, and to everyone and everything involved in it coming to be and coming to me. Allies, please bless this food with the violet flame and any other energies that will remove or transmute any unhealthy energies. Please bring this food to the highest, healthiest vibration that serves highest good. Thank you.”

After saying this blessing, I relax and let my allies do the blessing through me. I’m just the hollow reed the energy flows through. (In this context, allies are any high-vibration spiritual beings with whom you have a working relationship.)

I strive to genuinely bless everything I put into my body. Having your spiritual allies upgrade the vibration of everything you consume can help improve your health on every level. I invite you to give it a try and see how it improves your life!

I’d love to see some examples of other food prayers.
Are there any specific to allergies or gut problems?
Are there any if one is not currently working with allies?
    Thank you!

My prayer is just an example – be creative with creating and customizing your own! If not working without allies, pray to whatever name you call the divine. :-)

I have been blessing my food ever since David Wilcock’s The Source Field Investigations provided scientific evidence that it works. The speaker has been thinking about updating the blessing in order to keep it fresh and present. This is beautiful. Thank you.
