Vesta, at the focal point of the Yod, represents your selfless service. Jupiter can boost your idealism and generosity. Finally, the Sun in Aries can light you up with the passion and assertiveness to energize your service!

Saturn Sextile Uranus

This Saturn-Uranus sextile is one of 2025’s most important aspects.

It will be in orb for 15 months. Its effects began on 1/11/25 and last through 4/16/26. There are three exact sextiles: the one today (4/4/25), 8/11/25, and 1/19/26. There will also be an “encore” sextile 9/1/26 through 1/25/27.

Even though this is a soft aspect, it has both negative and positive potentials:

Negative Potentials

One-sided extremism can lead to unpleasant consequences. Note whether impulses to act spring from fear or life-affirming adventurousness. Tipping into negativity may result in rude awakenings and lost freedom. You could also experience unexpected problems, disruptions, or delays. Be careful not to forget your ideals!

Positive Potentials

Responsible and balanced freedom can be created through careful and cautious change. This might involve incremental openings and awakenings. Methodically facing problems and finding solutions can demonstrate the liberating benefits of structure and routine. Finally, when an intuitive hit calls you to action, get to work on it!

An inability to hold rigid positions or stay stuck permanently can lead to working out specific karmic problems. This process can give you unexpected rewards for your pain.

Death or destruction in one place can lead to rebirth elsewhere, reflected in the breakdown of outworn structures.

We’re now seeing all kinds of structures falling rapidly — governmental, business and personal. Those dismantling the existing structures may not realize it, but they’re making way for better and more conscious structures to rise!

Some dark, self-serving structures are rising. This is only fair, since the forces of darkness are also players in life’s great game. But as a lightworker, if you see an old structure going down, you can help create a more luminous reality in its place.

There is no going back to “normal.” Do we really want to perpetuate ever-increasing division, hostility and dehumanization? Do we want to continue destroying the global environment we all need to survive? The only viable way forward, for us humans and everything else on earth, is to create a better reality.

There’s one more Saturn sextile Uranus opportunity it’s important to explore. Transcending time and causality lets you remain undisturbed by any extreme. These are just a few of the benefits of you functioning as conscious spirit awareness while manifesting in physical form.

The only way to transcend time and causality is to awaken to the part of you in a higher dimension, beyond time and causality. Likewise, you overcome an obsession with external physical security by connecting with the indestructible part of you beyond the physical world.

Once you experience the immortal part of you that can’t be harmed — your luminous soul — your human self relaxes. Even if your human body dies, you’re guaranteed all the incarnations you need for your soul journey.

Not only that, I believe that the game is rigged … and everybody wins. The finish line for every soul is ultimately the same: divine union. There’s simply nowhere else to go!

It’s a good time to reality check your relationships with Venus conjunct Saturn (25°15′ Pisces). Venus in Pisces can also help you be more productive with your creative output.

Mercury Direct

Mercury turns direct today (4/7) at 7:08 am (26°49′ Pisces). The winged messenger turned retrograde on 3/15 (9°35′ Aries).

With Mercury direct and the Moon waxing, there’s good energy to start new ventures. The only major caution is the fact that Venus is still retrograde.

Because of that, reflection might be wiser than action in relationships, new creative projects, and finances. If you can wait, new starts after the 4/27 New Moon will have stronger astrological support overall.

Cradle Peaks

A Cradle aspect pattern that started on 3/16 peaks today (4/8) and ends on 4/27. It includes Mars, Saturn, Uranus, and the Lunar Nodes. Let’s consider these planets and points separately before we interpret the complete aspect pattern.

The Lunar Nodes

The South Node lets you discover or develop abilities from past lives that can help you in this incarnation. It can also introduce unhealed trauma from past lives when appropriate. (Thousands have found my free Healing Invocation to be a quick and effective DIY method for clearing physical and emotional challenges.)

Saturn

Many people fear Saturn. In fact, he rules fear! But he has plenty of upside potential, and is one of the most helpful planets in my own horoscope.

If you want to be mature and responsible, Saturn is your guy. He can also help you “plan the work and work the plan” and use time efficiently. You can retreat into your private space as the Hermit, or step out to serve others as the Wise Elder.

Saturn can introduce obstacles or obstructions. If so, there’s some problem with the structure of the situation that needs your attention. What needs to be created, released or repaired? Saturn invites you to step into your wisdom and authority to help resolve the issue.

Saturn’s placement in Pisces invites you to use the Law of Attraction to manifest your desires. (Pisces rules visualization, while Saturn rules concrete manifestation.)

Saturn in Pisces is also great for embodied spiritual awakening. (Pisces rules spiritual awakening. Saturn wants this integrated into your daily life, which lets you enjoy the greatest practical benefit from this euphoric state.)

Uranus

Uranus first wants to know how fully you’re internally embracing your most authentic and idiosyncratic human self. To unlock your full creativity and vitality, you must accept what’s unique and different about yourself — even if you keep some of it private.

Uranus loves it when you “fly your freak flag.” How much of your uniqueness can you share with others? Some people can always fly their freak flag all the way up the pole. Others share their more divergent parts more selectively.

Uranus also rules intuitive hits. When people get one of these, they might say they have a “gut feeling,” “know something in their bones,” or have a “full-body yes.”

There’s absolute certainty when you get an intuitive hit, even if you doubt it half a second later. This conviction is a feeling, not a thought.

These intuitive hits come from your higher self. Based on conversations with hundreds of my clients, as well as my own experience, I’m confident that intuition is a human’s most infallible guidance.

Uranus also loves it when you serve your “tribe.” As much as possible, do this using your special gifts and talents you most love to use!

Mars

Mars adds “get up and go” to your actions. He specifically supports anything you do as a warrior, pioneer, sexual being, or entrepreneur. With Mars in Cancer, you can assertively pursue goals that resonate in your heart.

The Cradle Interpretation

Any aspect pattern supports many possibilities. But here’s an interpretation of this Cradle that you might find most helpful:

Expertly serve others using the abilities that come most naturally to you (South Node in Virgo). Follow your heart to initiate bold action (Mars in Cancer) as you serve, and follow your intuitive hits (Uranus) as you go.

Create a productive framework for your service, and confidently step out as a Wise Elder (Saturn). And do all this while consistently maintaining embodied awakening and receiving a constant flow of divine energy and inspiration that supports your worldly endeavors (Saturn in Pisces).

Jupiter-Saturn-Nodes T-Square Starts

Expand or contract? See the glass as half-full or half-empty? Dance in ecstatic celebration or top off your emergency supplies?

Jupiter square Saturn, the heart of a new aspect pattern, might pull you in both directions.

This 71-day T-Square with Jupiter, Saturn, and the lunar nodes kicks off today (4/9), peaks on 5/29 and ends on 6/19.

Be flexible. Sometimes Jupiter, the planet of expansion, optimism and celebration, will lead. Jupiter may also invite you to focus on philosophy, religion, and foreign travel or influences.

At other times heed Saturn, who embodies seriousness, maturity, boundaries and limitation. He may call for you to focus on your goals, plan your work and work your plan, and keep your nose to the grindstone.

With Jupiter in Gemini, learning, teaching, writing, and communication are potently energized. These energies can support you as a high level student or wisdom giver.

Saturn is in Pisces during most of this T-Square, through 5/24. This can empower your Law of Attraction manifestations, and help you more easily maintain embodied awakening.

It will be easier to brainstorm to achieve practical outcomes. And you can balance blissfully productive periods “in the zone” with downtime for playful celebration.

The lunar nodes encourage you to do all this in alignment with your life purpose. With the South Node in Virgo and the North Node in Pisces, intuitive knowing can increasingly replace logical planning.

You can enjoy more conscious soul connection in your committed partnerships, thanks to a Neptune-Juno trine (0°27′ Aries-Sagittarius). Committed partnerships that involve Neptune’s themes of creativity and spirituality get extra support!

Libra Full Moon

A Full Moon illuminates the sky at 8:22 pm EDT (23°20′ Libra),

Any Libra Full Moon is great for release or adjustment in your relationships, creative expression, and finances.

Three Aspect Patterns

It’s rare for a lunation to have three aspect patterns, but this one does! Let’s dive into this Full Moon’s T-Square, Kite, and “Finger of God.”

T-Square

This Full Moon’s T-Square includes the Moon, Sun, Mars, and Chiron.

Chiron, almost exactly conjunct the Sun, is the wounded healer. This could stir up some unhealed emotional trauma.

Fortunately, healing old emotional pain can be your fastest road to deeper spiritual awakening! By using a quick and effective shadow work technique, such as my free Healing Invocation, you could quickly clear old traumas once and for all. Any effective shadow work process will automatically open you to deeper spiritual awakening.

Chiron can also help you more potently serve others as a healer or wisdom giver.

Mars, at the T-Square’s apex, can fire up everything I just described. His placement in Cancer is ideal for catalyzing unhealed emotional trauma. Once you’ve healed it, you could experience more euphoric emotions than ever before!

Mars can also fire up anything else you choose to do with this Full Moon.

Kite

The Moon, Sun, and Chiron are also part of a Kite aspect pattern. Its other members are Pallas Athena and Jupiter.

Jupiter shares Chiron’s “wisdom giver” theme, while Pallas Athena invites you to work smart.

Whether you’re learning at a higher level or instructing others, how can you use more cleverness and less sweat equity? For example, if you’re not taking advantage of the time you can save by using AI in your work, I recommend you explore its exponentially expanding capabilities!

“Finger of God”

This Full Moon’s final aspect pattern is a “Finger of God” (Yod). It includes the Moon, Venus, Saturn, and Uranus.

Venus and the Libra Moon put the focus on relationships, and the Yod suggests that you make appropriate adjustments.

With Saturn conjunct Venus, scrutinize the structure of your important relationships. Uranus can help by popping in intuitive hits to guide you. You may find my post on “awesome, awful, or mixed” relationships helpful in resolving any relationship challenges.

Venus and Libra also represent artistry. What adjustments, restructuring, or paradigm shifts would uplevel your creative expression?

Sabian Symbol

This Full Moon’s Sabian Symbol is, “A third wing on the left side of a butterfly.”

A butterfly with a third wing may look strange at first, but can still be uniquely beautiful. This Sabian Symbol encourages you to embrace  what’s different about yourself, even if some think it’s weird.

On a subtler level, the left side is receptive for most people. The extra wing on this side could indicate your development of enhanced sensitivity,

Venus turns direct today (4/12) at 9:02 pm EDT (24°37′ Pisces). She turned retrograde on 3/1 (10°50′ Aries).

Venus retrograde was a great time to contemplate her main themes: relationships, creativity, and money. How’s your life going in these areas? What new steps do you want to take now?

A high-intensity T-Square starts today, peaks on 4/22, and ends on 5/3. It’s supercharged by the Sun, Mars, and Pluto!

Mercury Conjunct Neptune

You can open to an inspiring flow of divine information as Mercury conjoins Neptune (0°38′ Aries). Relax your rational mind so your intuition can more easily bless you with its insights.

On the dark side, Neptune rules lies and misinformation. Don’t believe everything you read in your social media feed!

Jupiter Sesquare Pluto

It may only be a minor hard aspect. But a 135° sesquare between Jupiter and Pluto (18°44′ Gemini-3°44′ Aquarius) packs a punch!

It also has staying power: its influence started on 3/20 and lasts through 5/7.

The most obvious effect of this sesquare is Pluto empowering Jupiter’s natal meanings.

For example, you can dive more deeply into higher education, formal or self-guided, as a student. You can also bless others as a professor, philosopher, guru, or other wisdom-giver.

Jupiter rules foreign travel. This could mean a physical excursion. But with today’s technologies, other countries and cultures can easily come to you.

Do you crave a deeper understanding of life? Jupiter rules religion, philosophy and life’s meaning.

Are you living life as a quest or adventure? Jupiter would love it if you did. And are you experiencing enough celebration, euphoria and enthusiasm? These are Jupiter’ most joyful expressions!

Endlessly expansive Jupiter is the planet most likely to overdo things, so be careful not to put too many irons in the fire. Jupiter can also believe it has the One True Way, even when it doesn’t, so don’t succumb to “street corner preacher syndrome.”

Jupiter can also expand Pluto’s planetary potentials. In a nutshell, these are wealth, power, trauma healing, sacred sex, occult practices, and personal transformation. You can learn more about Pluto’s possibilities in this part of my 4/27 New Moon interpretation.

Juno Grand Sextile Peaks

Juno, the asteroid goddess of committed partnerships, is the focal point of several potent aspect patterns through 5/7. A Grand Sextile with Mars, Juno, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Lunar Nodes peaks on 4/17 and continues thru 4/27.

This invites you to bring special focus to your committed partnerships. It will be easier to accentuate the positive and take these important connections to the next level.

Juno-Focused Envelope Peaks

What happens if you subtract Mars from the Grand Sextile I just interpreted? You get an Envelope with Juno, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Lunar Nodes. It peaks on 4/19 and continues thru 5/7.

Its interpretation is nearly identical, so it mostly serves to extend the Grand Sextile’s effects for another ten days.

The Sun enters Taurus at 3:56 pm EDT. For the next month, you’ll get extra support for making money and accumulating resources. Steady, methodical effort can be rewarded. And you can have enhanced enjoyment of nature, your five senses, and “just being.”

Have your shadow work tools ready! A “Finger of God” that starts today makes it more likely that a committed partnership could trigger your unhealed emotional wounds.

This aspect pattern, formally known as a Yod, peaks on 5/14 and ends on 5/30. It includes Juno, Chiron, and the South Node. Juno is all about committed partnership, while Chiron and the South Node can both relate to unhealed trauma.

You can also use this “Finger of God” to offer wisdom or healing support to others. You might help them with their committed partnerships. Or the committed partnership might be the therapeutic container you make with the person you’re helping!

Taurus New Moon

There’s a New Moon at 3:31 pm EDT (7°46′ Taurus).

Any Taurus New Moon is great for new beginnings in material security and making money. It’s also great for putting down roots, reveling in the pleasure of the five senses, and enjoying the natural world. In addition, Taurus energy supports the appropriate continuation of existing situations and “just being.”

Aspects

T-Square

This New Moon is supercharged by a high-intensity T-Square. It includes the Moon, Sun, Mars, and Pluto.

This is potentially explosive energy. Handled skillfully, it can help you jump to wonderful new levels. Handled poorly, all hell can break loose!

On the high side, Mars can help you strive for a worthy cause, make new starts, enjoy mutually enriching sex, and be a successful entrepreneur. His dark side could push you toward anger, rage, violence, ill-advised impulsiveness, or harmful sexual behavior.

Pluto has similarly extreme potentials, starting with wealth and power.

Most people associate wealth with having lots of money and possessions. Taurus rules money and possessions, but usually refers to what you’ve accumulated through your own efforts.

Pluto can expand beyond this to include other people’s money, joint ventures, and money created through passive investments. Wealth can be shared so that many benefit from it, or selfishly concentrated so that only one or a select few profit.

The concept of wealth can also be expanded to include anything, material or immaterial, that enriches your life.

Pluto also rules power. Power can be cultivated for the greater good, as demonstrated by Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Martin Luther King, Jr. It can also be used to ruthlessly dominate, control, and destroy, as demonstrated by tyrants such as Hitler and Stalin.

How do you work with wealth and power?

As lord of the underworld, Pluto also rules buried trauma, psychology, shadow work, and profound personal transformation.

So this New Moon is a great time to do emotional healing work. After 14+ years, my favorite DIY technique for this remains my free Healing Invocation. It’s amazing how fast, easy, and effective trauma healing can be when you delegate it to your higher self!

Sex is a theme shared by Mars and Pluto. Mars is more about the primal animal lust for sexual pleasure. But Pluto can elevate you into the divine bliss of sacred sex. No purely physical orgasm can compare with the sublime ecstasy of soul-blended erotic connection.

Pluto also rules occult practices. These include everything that can’t be perceived by the five senses, since occult simply means “hidden.”

These include astrology, tarot, numerology, runes, mediumship, psychic abilities, and more. Those on the path of love and light strive to always practice the occult arts for the highest good of all.

As we close our T-Square interpretation, let’s note Mars’ placement in Leo. This could help you assert yourself as a leader or entertainer. It could also help you be more playful, connect with children, or cavort with your inner kids!

Two Semi-Squares

This New Moon also has semi-squares with Ceres and Jupiter.

For starters, this amplifies abundance. Jupiter is associated with luck and good fortune, while the grain goddess Ceres correlates with harvest.

The presence of Ceres, who is also associated with shadow work, can also empower your trauma healing. Finally, Jupiter’s natal meaning and placement in Gemini can help you learn and share your insights with others!
