Mercury turns direct, and so does Neptune, the planet of inspiration and “flow state”. And a Grand Trine makes it easier to pursue your life purpose with inspired enthusiasm!

Of course, there’s also some potential challenge. But it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to write a forecast this rosy!

Yod Peaks: Juno-Pallas-Uranus

The Juno-Pallas-Uranus Yod that started on 11/6 peaks today (11/16) and ends on 11/27.

This “Finger of God” invites you to revolutionize your committed partnerships through strategic planning and bold action. With Uranus as the focal planet, you and your committed partner could even team up to catalyze an awesome paradigm shift!

11/19 (Tue)

Grand Cross Peaks: Juno-Chiron-Lunar Nodes

When most people hear the words “committed partnership,” they think of a romantic partner. But the definition can be more broad when we’re dealing with Juno, the asteroid goddess of committed partnership. We could be talking about a business partnership, a deep friendship, or any other relationship where you’re bound to each other.

A Grand Cross with Juno, Chiron and the lunar nodes wants to know: do your committed partnerships align with your soul purpose? If that’s the case, with the North Node in Cancer, your heart should feel an emphatic “Yes!” about that person. If the relationship doesn’t serve your highest good, this Grand Cross may bring challenge to draw that to your attention.

With Chiron in this configuration, you may experience some kind of wounding in committed partnerships that don’t serve highest good. If they are aligned, the themes of mentoring or healing could be strong.

This Grand Cross started on 11/4, peaks today (11/19) and ends on 12/8.

11/20 (Wed)

Mercury Direct

Mercury, which stationed retrograde on Halloween (10/31) at 27°38′ Scorpio, turns direct today (11/20) at 2:12 PM EST (11°35′ Scorpio).

What insights did you gain during Mercury retrograde? I noted in my 10/31 interpretation that Mercury would retrograde entirely in Scorpio, and invited you to reflect on the intense themes of this sign.

Scorpio radiates the energy of transformation, wealth and power. It deals with shadow work to deal with your emotional wounds, unflinching honesty, and the ecstasy of sacred sex. Scorpio also rules occult practices like astrology, numerology, tarot, mediumship, and psychic work — anything that goes behind the veil.

Scorpio rules all shared energy. With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, did you contemplate how you’re blending your energetic or physical resources with other people, institutions, or entities?

Because of the aspects Mercury was making when it turned retrograde, I suggested that you ask yourself if your most important relationships support your life purpose. Other themes worthy of contemplation included mentoring and healing, selfless service to a higher cause, and using strategy and diplomacy as you pursue your goals.

List the insights you gained in these areas during Mercury retrograde. Now that Mercury is direct, the time is nearly ripe to start taking action on them!

Why “nearly”? Because it’s optimal to begin new things under a waxing Moon, which is still six day away. There’s a New Moon on 11/26 at 10:06 AM EST. Once that arrives, the decks are also clear for any major purchases, contract signings or other significant beginnings. (I speak in general terms – truly important matters have the greatest chance for success when their starting moment is timed using electional astrology.)

Kite Peaks: Mercury-Saturn-Neptune-North Node

An intense focus on your higher purpose – and the ability to manifest it! — is smoothly supported by a Kite that started on 11/10, peaks today (11/20) and ends on 11/30. It includes Mercury, Saturn, Neptune and the North Node.

Mercury in Scorpio provides the intense focus. The Saturn-Neptune sextile within this aspect pattern empowers Law of Attraction manifestation. (Neptune supports imagination and Saturn excels at manifestation.) And the North Node – astrology’s “destiny point” – wants you to fulfill your soul mission!

Scorpio loves metaphysical practices that pierce beyond the veil. And the Saturn-Neptune sextile also supports embodied awakening. The Sun enters Sagittarius at 9:59 AM EST. For the next month, it will be easier to live life as a quest, and to learn or share life-enhancing wisdom. Broaden your horizons with exposure to foreign cultures, and make time to celebrate!

11/24 (Sun)

The two classic benefics merge as Venus conjoins Jupiter (28°11′ Sagittarius). This aspect can bring increased good fortune to relationships, creativity and money. It will also help you perceive whatever’s going on in these areas more clearly, whether you consider it good or bad.

This conjunction can also bring harmony and pleasant relating to areas such as foreign travel, higher education, and celebration.

Proceed with caution – but do proceed! – as Mars opposes Uranus (3°32′ Scorpio-Taurus). This is a volatile aspect, especially with Mars in super-intense Scorpio! (Mars is the ancient ruler of Scorpio.)

The most challenging possibilities include unexpected outbreaks of anger, sudden violence, or sexual abuse. Try to steer clear of dangerous people or situations in the days on and around this aspect.

Fortunately, the life-affirming possibilities of this opposition are equally potent. Your work as a leader, pioneer or entrepreneur can be potently electrified. Sex can be innovative, passionate and soul-blended. And you can have more courage to act immediately on your intuitive flashes!

11/26 (Tue)

Sagittarius New Moon

November’s New Moon aligns at 10:05 AM EST (4°3′ Sagittarius). Any Sagittarius New Moon is great for new beginnings or fresh energy in a variety of areas. These include foreign travel and influences, as well as higher education and acting as the professor, philosopher or guru. Pursue that quest or adventure. Publish that information. And make time to celebrate and have fun!

Sagittarius can overdo things, and this New Moon has no restraining aspects. So it might be best not to chow down that seventh serving of dessert at Thanksgiving dinner! (The U.S. Thanksgiving holiday is two days after this lunation.)

Exercise appropriate self-control if excessive indulgence could have negative consequences. And be careful about getting on your soapbox: this energy could make it easier to mistakenly believe that you’re right and everybody else is wrong!

Aspects

The Sun and Moon conjoin Pallas Athena. This suggests that you pursue your goals with strategy, tact and skillful negotiation. Pallas is a warrior goddess, but she prefers diplomacy to battle.

With a tight quincunx from Uranus, make whatever adjustments are needed to express your authentic self, and follow your intuitive flashes. A Chiron trine smoothly supports healing and mentoring.

The luminaries receive a Juno sextile, which supports harmonious, energetic connections with your committed partners. Finally, bracketing semi-sextiles from Mars and Ceres contribute energy and abundance!

Sabian Symbol

This New Moon’s Sabian Symbol is, “An old owl perched high up in a tree.” The owl is associated with wisdom, and it could take considerable effort for a human to climb high into a tree.

Neptune Direct

Neptune, which turned retrograde on 6/21 at 18°43′ Pisces, stations direct today (11/27) at 15°55′ Pisces. Outer planets like Neptune are retrograde for about five months each year. Their transits affect us pretty much the same whether they’re direct or retrograde.

In my 6/21 forecast, I invited you to reflect on how Neptune’s astrological meanings express in your life. Its high expressions include divine union, inspired creativity, and unconditional love and compassion.

Neptune’s challenging expressions include substance abuse, excessive escapism and aimless drifting. Confusion, delusion and playing the victim are also on the low side list.

While Neptune’s been retrograde, what insights have you gained about how its energy manifests in your life? Now that Neptune is direct, what changes are you inspired to make in these areas?

The more you cultivate a planet’s high expressions, the less energy it has left to trouble you with its low side. Of course, it’s not always that simple, especially when dealing with serious challenges such as addiction. Do what you can with intention … and seek help if you need it!

Neptune makes one exact aspect on the day it turns direct: a Neptune-Vesta sextile (15°55′ Pisces-Taurus). Vesta represents selfless service to a higher cause.

Grand Trine Begins

We have three astrological reasons to be grateful on the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. The first is a Grand Trine featuring Mars, Neptune and the North Node. It starts today (11/28), peaks on 12/8 and ends on 12/16. This flowing aspect pattern makes it easier for you to put vigorous, flowing energy toward your life purpose.

Your natal chart has lots of specific information about your life purpose. But there’s a simpler way to start aligning with the reason you incarnated: just do what you’re most enthusiastic about!

Mars in Scorpio can generate plenty of that enthusiasm. Neptune can flow in all the divine inspiration you need. Finally, the North Node in Cancer reminds you that it’s easiest to fulfill your life purpose when you follow your heart. You’ll feel strong emotional resonance when you align with your True North.

Vesta is the asteroid goddess who represents selfless service. She’s opposing Mercury, who embodies learning and communication.

With Mercury in Scorpio, you can do deep dive learning about the worthy cause you’re serving. You can also communicate its value to others with authenticity, passion and persistence.

That leaves Saturn and Neptune. They’re the perfect partnership for Law of Attraction. Neptune supports imagination, while Saturn excels at manifestation. So clearly visualize the final result you want from your efforts.

Saturn and Neptune also support embodied awakening. Maintaining this state is surprisingly easy with my embodied awakening invocation. And the flow state it provides will make you far more effective in your service to that worthy cause!

This Cradle started on 11/7. Because of Mercury turning direct, this aspect pattern had its first peak on 11/13, and has its other peak today (11/29). It wraps up on 12/5.
