From earliest memories on, my greatest joys have been connecting with the natural world, celebrating life through music and movement, and understanding relationship dynamics with others on this journey.
Jupiter in my astrological design, amplified in the sign he rules, Sagittarius (the philosopher and global citizen), is the strongest planet in my chart, in strong harmony with Venus (goddess of Love and relationship). What this translates into is BIG LOVE!!!
The philosopher at play so strongly within me was on a search from the beginning to discover how the mind, body, and spirit work together to create the highest possible experience of health and well being.

When something comes naturally, it often begins early in life. For me, spiritual counseling was one of those natural gifts that manifested that way. As a child, I was giving counsel to other children, who would spontaneously reveal their deepest feelings, because they sensed I would listen with true compassion, and be able to offer helpful advice… or “counsel”. And I did.
I remember one time in particular, when I was riding the bus home from school. We lived in the country, and it was a long ride. One of my classmates was going through a difficult time with a parent. We were about 11 or 12 at the time. She poured her heart out to me and by the time we arrived at her driveway, she was in a more peaceful place, as I was able to help her see ways to deal with her pain and perhaps create a better situation. This was often typical of those long bus rides.
In high school and college, the focus was more often about hopes and dreams, or romantic involvements. We talked, and we sometimes prayed, because, at the time, I was attending college as a ministerial student, preparing to be a missionary.
In my bio, you can see I have evolved from the more exclusive religious path in which I was raised. While I am deeply grateful for the teachings I followed growing up, I had an epiphany experience at 18, and came to embrace all spiritual paths and multiple ways of understanding the truth of who we are, as Spirit Beings in human bodies.
In my early adulthood, as a young mother, I worked part time in sales. One of the companies I represented was Success Motivation Institute out of Waco, Texas. During that time, I added to my understanding of goal setting and tools that are vital to being successful. I had already taken a course called “Possibility thinking” and allowed myself to create a master plan.
All my life, I understood the power of dreaming and creating. Most of us do better at dreaming, than creating. I love to reignite the joy of dreaming in those whom I counsel, but also to stir the fires of creativity in those who seek my help.
I did finally, at the turn of the century, become a licensed minister with the Alliance of Divine Love (www.allianceofdivinelove.org ). ADL has a simple philosophy of living in the highest degree of love we possibly can.
When I felt Spirit was calling me to become a licensed minister, I reluctantly agreed, but with a caveat. I said, “Yes, but only if there is a church organization without dogma and it must honor all spiritual paths.” It was not long after that the Alliance of Divine Love was revealed to me, and I began my studies, completing them and receiving my ordination on May 30, 1999.
I find greater joy than ever in helping people discover more of who they truly are, and become energized and empowered to live their highest dreams!

Aromatherapy
Essential oils are the distilled essence of medicinal plants, whose aromas rapidly transform brain chemistry. They are what is sometimes called the “lifeblood” of the plant. I have been using Essential Oils for many years, in my own life, and to enhance the lives of others, and have often been amazed at how quickly they can work!
From 1988 through 2002 I was a massage therapist. Due to a shoulder injury, I was not able to continue doing bodywork, but I continued the energy healing practices that became a part of my work at that time. Essential oils enhanced my work as a massage therapist and continue to raise and deepen the vibrational field of my clients as I use them in my Inner Journey work.
The natural world is full of healing plant allies to help us when we are out of balance to enhance our lives with a higher level of well being. We are totally dependent upon our Earth Mother… our Pachamama, for our food and shelter… for our very existence! And so many of the plants we eat as food, in their distilled essence, creating an oil, are more potently healing in that form.
I have used many different kinds of essential oils, but it became clear to me as I had my massage therapy practice that the purity and kind of careful processing of the Young Living Essential Oils allowed my clients to respond more immediately and profoundly to them than to some of the other oils I was using.

Guided Imagery
Guided imagery is one of the most powerful tools we have to evoke lasting change with issues or behaviors that continue even when we have done traditional counseling or faithfully used positive affirmations.
Counseling practices of all kinds are indeed very valuable in our healing journeys. Positive affirmations are also quite helpful.
But most of our behaviors are dictated by what is in our subconscious, not our conscious mind. And because of that, only by accessing the subconscious mind through Hypnosis, or Guided Imagery, will we get to the underlying causes. We can treat symptoms all day long, but until we get to the root of our dysfunctions, we will only have temporary results, or sometimes even complicate the problem.
What I love about the Guided Imagery, is that it can be used on a daily basis by anyone choosing to change your life with recordings that are played while you are going to sleep, or sitting quietly in a receptive state at any time through your waking hours.
Guided Imagery helps us relax and reduce anxiety, or deepen our sleep, or even increase our self-confidence.
It can help your body fight disease, prepare for medical procedures, and reduce side effects from treatment. There have been many scientifically based studies to prove this.
When I went to Mayo Clinic to have open heart surgery in 2007. A second surgery was planned for the day after my open heart surgery, due to a rare genetic heart disorder. But, instead of the two surgeries planned, amazingly, I experienced a miraculous spontaneous healing through grace from the Divine realms, (a story for another time), making the surgeries unnecessary!
So, I was flying home on the day I was scheduled for my open heart surgery! This was the second of three miracles I’ve had along the way in my heart journey, and my heart is always in deepest gratitude and awe. I definitely believe in miracles!
But, as I was getting ready to leave to go to Rochester, Minnesota for these surgeries, I was concerned about how I would convey to the medical teams taking care of me that I needed to have Guided Imagery recordings playing while I was recovering.
Much to my amazement and delight, when I received my pre-operative prep package from my surgeon’s office, it had a copy of “Successful Surgery”, a guided imagery recording that my instructor, Belleruth Naparstek, created years ago, to get the body ready for the highest possible outcome of any surgical procedure!
I squealed out loud when I opened that package and laughed uproariously with glee for some time with the joy of knowing I would get that kind of awareness in my care! And, of course, I listened faithfully as I prepared for what I expected to be one of the most challenging times of my life! This stellar Clinic, ahead of most others in its approach to everything medical already knew what I knew from my training. Guided imagery is one of the keys to successful surgery and recovery!
And not only is it key to successful surgery, but it is also vital to making lasting change in our lives in so many other ways.
I am so fortunate to have had the blessing of doing some training with Belleruth Naparstek, a world-renowned master of guided imagery. I use this valuable skill in my personal work with you when you come for an Inner Journey, and on rare occasion will create a personalized recording for a client.
Hypnotherapy
As a professional hypnotist (trained at Atlanta’s Hypnosis Institute International), I can assist you in your healing journey by accessing the deeper realms of the subconscious.
By supporting the healing and empowerment process at the subconscious level, sometimes years’ worth of therapy can be condensed into a few sessions — with more effective and lasting results!
I more commonly used Guided Imagery, which is similar, but with subtle differences, but on occasion, especially when requested, will use hypnosis as a healing modality.
I am a certified hypnotist, but not hypnotherapist, a path that takes many more years of training and certification.
I honor and appreciate the gift of hypnosis, whether used as an adjunct to other modalities, as I do in my healing practice, or in the more intensive way with a professional hypnotherapist, whose practice is primarily focused on hypnosis.
Guided imagery, which has more detail if you choose to access that on the Guided Imagery page under Services in my main menu can be used by the client, as well as the practitioner.
Native Traditions
Along the way in my personal journey of discovering more of the beautiful parts of my history in this lifetime and others, I was blessed to be able to learn about the sacred teachings and practices of the Pachakuti Mesa carriers and traditions of the Q’ero tribe in Peru.
As I studied with local Pachakuti Mesa carriers, my love for these traditions grew ever stronger. I eventually was gifted with the opportunity to go to Peru in 2007, and deepen my connection to this Sacred path, and receive initiations with beautiful Q’ero Shamans and Elders, who often call themselves Pacos,
Through the beauty of the Patchakuti Mesa path, I began to use, with great reverence and gratitude, these very powerful healing methods learned through the ancient wisdom of the Q’ero Elders in Peru and the Heart of the Healer organization.
As I began to incorporate some of these sacred Earth Medicine practices, or Native Traditions, into my healing work with clients, as guided by Spirit, I realized how much I loved working not only with the Angels, but the Ancient Ones.
This has connected me with memories of my experience in prior lifetimes as a Medicine Woman.
It is my honor to blend these powerful healing practices into my work with my clients.
Multi-Dimensional Transmissions
As a child, living on a farm, I spent many hours out on the land, and loved playing in, or walking alongside the stream that ran through the farm. It was called “Rock Creek”, and it was full of rocks and stones. The rippling sound of the water streaming over the rocks and stones made a beautiful sound and I would experience another stream of energy coming through my voice. I called it my heavenly language.
It filled me with bliss, and felt like the stream of expression flowing through me was somehow connected to the angelic kingdom. Because I felt the presence of angels when it came through, I also sometimes called it my angelic language.
This heavenly language would emerge only occasionally, and always when I was out in the natural world while I was growing up.
In the years throughout my early adulthood, it also began to be present at times when I was in a devotional state, praying or singing, or in meditation. In Paul’s message in 1st Corinthians, 13th chapter on the importance of love in the Bible, he speaks of an angelic language when he says that even though we may speak with the tongues of men and angels if we have not love, we have nothing.
But as I was doing a healing session not long after the turn of the century, this language emerged while I was working with a client. After some resistance, as I’d always believed it was just a personal expression of my relationship with the Divine realms, I allowed it to come through in the session.
And it was clearly as blissful for my client, as it was for me. As time went along it became a part of most of my healing facilitation sessions, with other languages beginning to come through, as well.
I came to understand that I was a clear channel for multi dimensional Beings of Light, besides the Angels, and was told these transmissions were not always languages, but often transmissions of Light and Energy on the wings of sound, creating change within the structure of my client, according to their individual needs.
Always, clients experience profound states of bliss, and some report radical changes in their lives after our sessions together.
