Sun-Outer Planets Kite Peaks

A Kite that started on 9/10 peaks today (9/18) and ends on 9/25. It includes the Sun, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Uranus asks you to step into the unique human expression you came here to embody. Be sure to follow the intuitive hits he sends you, and to serve others using your special gifts and talents you most love to use.

Neptune supports your spiritual awakening practices, and can send you inspired creativity to express into the world. Neptune’s support makes it easier to operate “in the zone” and work with your dreams.

Pluto offers you wealth and power, and makes it easier to dive into shadow work, shamanism, and occult practices. He also supports personal transformation of all kinds.

9/19 (Tue)

A Sun-Neptune opposition (26°16′ Virgo-Pisces) can add power to your spiritual awakening practices, amplify inspired creativity, and help you stay in flow state. It can also help you with conscious dreaming and dream interpretation.

This opposition also has darker potentials. These include substance abuse, addiction, excessive escapism, aimless drifting, and playing the victim. If you’re experiencing any of these lower Neptune expressions, focus on its high side possibilities instead. If your own efforts aren’t enough, get help.

9/23 (Sat)

Fall Equinox / Sun Enters Libra

The Sun enters Libra at 2:50 am EDT. This marks the fall equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere’s vernal equinox.

For the next month, the Libra Sun makes more energy available for relating and creating. It’s easier to focus on harmony and beauty.

The fall equinox chart sets the astrological tone for the next three months. Here are its strongest messages.

Aspects

A Sun-Pallas Athena conjunction encourages feminine assertiveness, as well as win-win strategy, diplomacy, and negotiation.

A Venus-Juno conjunction encourages attention to all important relationships, including committed partnerships.

A tight trine between the Venus-Juno conjunction and Chiron harmoniously supports relationship healing and counseling.

The square between the Venus-Juno conjunction and Uranus is the featured aspect in my 9/29 Full Moon forecast. Learn more about it in that interpretation.

Mars opposes Chiron and sesquares Saturn. This could stir up old emotional wounds.

This is never pleasant, but could be just the catalyst you need to heal old trauma once and for all. You can do this with an effective shadow work technique. My free Healing Invocation has helped thousands heal old trauma with surprising ease and speed.

Having trouble maintaining momentum towards your goals? This Mars-Chiron-Saturn combo encourages you to seek wise counsel. (Chiron is the mentor, while Saturn is the wise elder.) With Mars in Libra, seeking fresh insight into relationships or creativity is especially supported.

These three planets can also support persistence. But be sure you aren’t stubbornly pursuing an unwise course of action.

Aspect Patterns

A Sun-Vesta-Neptune T-Square can inspire selfless service to a worthy cause.

I previously interpreted two aspect patterns that are waning as the fall equinox arrives: a T-Square with Ceres, Chiron, Pluto, and the lunar nodes, and a Kite with the Sun and the outer planets.

Two powerful T-Squares start on the same day as this equinox. Their interpretations are coming up right after this message!

Two Intense T-Squares Begin

Gear up for serious intensity as two related T-Squares begin today. Both have a Mars-Pluto square at their heart, so both high and low potentials are supercharged!

The simpler and longer T-Square includes Mars, Pluto, and the lunar nodes. It starts today (9/23), peaks on 10/5, and ends on 10/19.

The shorter T-Square adds Chiron. It also starts on 9/23, but peaks on 10/2 and ends on 10/6.

Let’s start simple.

T-square: Mars-Pluto-Lunar Nodes

Let’s start with the two planets in this T-Square.

You can act with tremendous potency with Mars square Pluto. Mars is the “Just do it!” planet. He chomps at the bit to take immediate action, while powerhouse Pluto holds the keys to wealth and power.

This supercharged aspect doesn’t guarantee success, since Pluto can bring feast or famine. Exercise due diligence and appropriate caution. Power this potent must be managed mindfully, or it could go off the rails and manifest as impulsiveness, cruelty or violence.

Mars’ natal meanings suggest enhanced opportunity when you act as a warrior, pioneer, entrepreneur or sexual being.

Pluto rules unhealed emotional trauma, which Mars can trigger, so have a good shadow work technique ready. (Thousands have benefitted from my free Healing Invocation, which delegates your healing to your higher self.)

This square also has erotic possibilities. Mars is raw lust, while Pluto revels in sacred sex. Pluto invites you to merge your souls as well as your bodies, which can catapult you to an entirely new level of ecstasy!

What about the lunar nodes? They represent your life purpose, and suggest that any actions you take relating to this T-Square should support the mission you came to accomplish in this incarnation.

One Level Deeper: Mars’ Signs

We can take this interpretation one level deeper by looking at the signs Mars will occupy. He’s in Libra through 10/11, then enters Scorpio on 10/12. So, roughly speaking, Mars is in Libra for the first three weeks of this T-Square, then spends the final week in Scorpio.

Mars in Libra encourages you to keep the welfare of others in mind. Stay keenly alert to how your assertiveness affects your relationships. Libra also represents creativity, so this T-Square can be a boon to your artistic aspirations!

Scorpio has the same archetypal energy as Pluto. So, once Mars enters Scorpio, it further empowers all the previously discussed potentials of Pluto.

The Shorter T-Square: Mars-Chiron-Pluto-Lunar Nodes

As I already mentioned, the shorter T-Square simply adds Chiron to Mars, Pluto, and the lunar nodes. Chiron conjoins the North Node. This T-Square also starts today (9/23), but peaks on 10/2 and ends on 10/6.

Chiron is the wounded healer. Like Pluto, he can stir up unhealed trauma that’s ripe for healing. As before, I recommend my free Healing Invocation to do this more quickly and easily than you might have thought possible!

Chiron also represents you being a healer or wisdom giver. The more you’ve done your own shadow work, the more capably you can serve others in these roles.

Mars remains in Libra during this briefer T-Square. This specifically empowers relationship counseling and healing, as well as artistic coaching and mentoring.

9/24 (Sun)

Today’s Mars-Chiron opposition (18°24′ Libra-Aries) is part of the Mars-Chiron-Pluto-Lunar Nodes T-Square I interpreted on 9/23. To understand it within that larger context, click here.

9/25 (Mon)

Your mental acuity  can be harmoniously energized by a Mercury-Jupiter trine (14°51′ Virgo-Taurus). It’s a good time for learning, writing, and communicating!

9/27 (Wed)

Mind Power Kite Begins

Learning, writing, and communication are supercharged by a Kite that includes Mercury and the three outer planets: Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. It starts on 9/27, peaks on 10/2, and ends on 10/6.

With Mercury in Virgo (a sign it rules) through 10/4, this harmonious aspect pattern also supports service, health, and detail work.

9/28 (Thu)

Quintuple Yod!

A rare Quintuple Yod – five “Fingers of God” in one! – starts on 9/28, peaks on 10/4, and ends on 10/9. It includes Venus, Mars, Juno, and the three “gods of change”: Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Yods call for adjustment, and relationship is the most obvious theme shared by Venus, Mars, and Juno. What adjustments could you make to improve challenging relationships, and make great relationships even better?

Listen for the intuitive guidance provided by Uranus and Neptune. Then forge ahead with the awesome power of Pluto!

9/29 (Fri)

Aries Full Moon

A Full Moon illuminates the sky at 5:58 a.m. EDT (6°0′ Aries). Any Aries Full Moon is great for release or adjustment in your activities as an entrepreneur, warrior, initiator, or sexual being.

Aspects

All the Full Moon’s aspects are hard or semi-hard. This creates a challenging tone for this lunation.

Note for astrology nerds: As shown in the illustration, most of these planets create a geometrical form that looks like an aspect pattern. But, as far as I know, this symmetrical combination of one opposition, three squares, two semi-squares and two sesquares isn’t in the books. Nor is the simpler trapezoid, formed by one square, one opposition, and two semi-squares, formed by all the planets shown except Ceres and Vesta. If you recognize either of these aspect patterns, please let me know what they’re called!

Venus and Juno Square Uranus

What’s this Full Moon’s most important aspect? Venus and Juno, who are almost exactly conjunct, tightly square Uranus. (All three planets also aspect the Moon, which ties them into a formal Full Moon interpretation.) Venus represents all important relationships, while Juno tightens the focus to committed partnerships.

This suggests paradigm shifts in important relationships of all kinds. This square could shake up a relationship that has challenges, or launch a wonderful relationship into even more awesome magnificence!

It might be helpful to think of your relationships in three categories.

One is the great relationships that obviously make your life better. Are there innovative things you could do to make them even better?

On the other extreme, do you have relationships that are toxic? Where, after interacting, you want to jump in the shower to scrub off all the negative energy you picked up?

With some of these people, can you draw a line in the sand and stop all communications? If not, can you at least minimize contact?

If not, these ”adversarial allies” can be your greatest teachers! When they irritate you, it shows where you still have healing work to do.

Notice where the discomfort is strongest in your body. Then do a Healing Invocation. (Here’s free info on this powerful technique.) This gives your higher self a chance to quickly and easily clear the underlying trauma once and for all!

Finally, there are borderline relationships. These have significant upside potential, along with serious problems.

I’ve done over 10,000 client sessions as an astrologer, shamanic healer, and life coach. Thousands of clients have shared their relationship challenges with me.

Based on what I’ve learned, relationship healing is most likely to succeed when both people are strongly motivated to improve the relationship. In addition, it’s best if they’re using a proven relationship healing method. My all-time favorite, whose effectiveness has been proven globally for decades, remains Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication system.

Here’s a thought that can make it easier to release a toxic or troubled relationship: you’re only walking away for now. There might be excellent reasons to resume the relationship later. Who knows? The future is full of surprises!

Individual Aspects

The Venus-Juno-Uranus square I’ve already discussed is this Full Moon’s headline aspect. But there are lots of other Moon aspects you can weave into your Full Moon intentions.

A Moon-Uranus semi-square invites you to be your authentic self and follow your intuitive hits. It also encourages you to serve others using your special gifts and talents you most love to use!

With the Moon square Vesta, consider how things are going with the higher causes you’re selflessly supporting.

The Moon opposes the warrior goddess Pallas Athena. Are you being appropriately assertive? Are you “working smart” and being strategic? Are you achieving your goals through win-win approaches like diplomacy, mediation, and negotiation?

Finally, with the Moon quincunx Ceres, are you doing effective shadow work so you can clear old traumas once and for all? And are you making the needed adjustments to bring greater harvest and abundance into your life?
