Spring Equinox / Sun Enters Aries

The Sun enters Aries at 5:37 am EDT, inflaming the energy of this fiery sign. How potently are you embodying the energies of the pioneer, warrior or entrepreneur? How’s your sex life? How are you handling anger and impulsiveness?

When the Sun enters Aries, it marks the moment of the Spring Equinox chart. This chart gives an overview of the astrology energy for the next 3 months.

The Spring Equinox chart features the two most important aspects of 2021: a Saturn-Uranus square and a Saturn-Chiron sextile. You can receive intuitive flashes more easily with Mercury sextile Uranus (8°30′ Pisces-Taurus). With Mercury in Pisces, these sudden flashes of knowing may support your creativity or spirituality.

You can enjoy extended endurance more easily with Mars trine Saturn (10°32′ Gemini-Aquarius). With Mars in Gemini, you might find learning and sharing information especially interesting. And be sure to spice up your Energizer Bunny persistence with some variety!

Libra Full Moon

A Full Moon illuminates the sky at 2:48 pm EDT (8°18′ Libra). Any Libra Full Moon is great for release or adjustment in the areas of relationship and creativity, as well as balance and justice.

Aspects

This Full Moon has lots of aspects! For starters, Venus and Chiron tightly oppose the Moon, while Ceres makes a looser opposition. These planets highlight the themes of shadow work and abundance.

Venus supports abundance, since she’s the natural ruler of money. Ceres is also associated with abundance, since she’s the grain goddess who delivers the harvest. Your abundant harvest could be financial, or made up of anything else that you value.

The shadow work theme is most powerfully carried by Chiron, the wounded healer. Ceres also carries a shadow work theme: when her daughter Persephone was abducted by Pluto, Ceres mourned inconsolably.

Although it might seem strange at first, the themes of abundance and shadow work are closely related. Abundance can be blocked by unhealed wounds and traumas, since these impede the flow of incoming divine energy. This energy juices up everything, including abundance. I consistently observe that those who process their personal shadow work effectively enjoy more abundance of all kinds.

The opposition of Venus and Chiron to the Full Moon can also support mentoring or healing to support creative expression.

The Moon also forms the tip of a “Finger of God” with Uranus and Pallas Athena on the back end. This aspect pattern, formally called a Yod, invites you to make whatever adjustments are needed to use your intuitive hits strategically and assertively. You can also boost your emotional harmony and happiness by embodying your authentic self, and by serving others using your special talents that you most love to use.

A sesquare from Aquarian Jupiter invites you to expand your joy by connecting with unconventional people, and being adventurous in your artistry. Finally, a trine from Aquarian Saturn can smoothly stabilize your Full Moon endeavors, and make it easier for you to consider unconventional wisdom.

Your mind can focus more easily on spirituality and inspired creativity with Mercury conjunct Neptune (21°20′ Pisces). This conjunction also supports channeling, whether that involves spiritual beings or information from your own inner wisdom.
