Three Mercury Aspects
Mercury is part of three aspects today: a Mercury-Neptune square (29°52′ Gemini Pisces), a Mercury-Venus conjunction (0°19′ Cancer), and a Mercury-Pluto quincunx (1°38′ Cancer-Aquarius)!
The biggest takeaway is increased energy for learning, teaching, writing, and communication. And your ability to express yourself creatively gets a major boost from Mercury’s aspects to Neptune and Venus!

Summer Solstice Chart / Sun Enters Cancer
The Summer Solstice is at 4:51 pm EDT as the Sun enters Cancer.
For starters, the Sun’s month in Cancer is a great time to focus on home and family. Security, emotions, and shadow work are also highlighted.
The Summer Solstice chart gives a feeling for what the next three months will bring. This is a global interpretation, so you can use it no matter where you live.
Aspect Patterns
Triple Conjunction
A Sun-Mercury-Venus Triple Conjunction, with all three planets in Cancer, opens numerous opportunities. Mercury enables learning, teaching, writing, and all types of communication. Placed in Cancer, it can help you move people’s hearts more effectively with your words. (Mercury’s gifts are also fired up by a harmonious Mercury-Mars sextile.)
Venus can help with your relationships, creativity, and finances. It can be easier to open your heart to others and feel more passion for your artistry. However, be careful not to let strong emotions steer you toward unwise financial decisions.
As a team, Mercury and Venus can help you communicate more harmoniously. They can also team up to support creative writing.
T-Square
This Summer Solstice’s other aspect pattern, a T-Square with the Moon, Juno, and Saturn, invites you to get serious about your committed partnerships. These can be romantic, platonic, or business-focused.

Capricorn Full Moon Square Neptune
A Full Moon illuminates the sky at 9:08 pm EDT (1°7′ Capricorn).
Any Capricorn Full Moon is great for release or adjustment in several areas. How are you doing in the areas of maturity, responsibility, and good time management? Are you able to “plan the work and work the plan”? Finally, are you balancing “hermit” time for yourself with your service to others as a wise elder?
Aspects
This Full Moon features two aspect patterns: a T-Square and an unnamed rectangular formation with two quincunxes and two semi-sextiles.
T-Square
The T-Square, by far the more important aspect pattern, contains the Moon, Sun, Venus, and Neptune. Venus is the artist, Neptune rules inspired creativity, and Capricorn loves tangible results. So put your artistic productivity into high gear!
Venus also rules relationships, while Neptune can boost your empathic sensitivity. With both Venus and the Sun in emotional Cancer, this setup can help you feel other people’s emotions more easily.
This can have the practical (Capricorn) benefit of letting you serve them more effectively, even if they don’t tell you what’s going on. If you want a deeper energetic connection with someone, this T-Square can help you blend souls more easily.
Venus and Neptune can also play well together a third way: by helping you more easily perceive the spiritual essence of everyone and everything around you. It’s truly magical when you perceive divinity everywhere you look!
This T-Square also has lower potentials. Be careful not to numb emotional pain with excessive self-indulgence. And be careful about being negatively influenced by people caught in Neptune’s dark side. This can include substance abuse, addiction, aimless drifting, and a perpetrator/victim relationship dynamic.
Astrology always gives you choices. If you’re tempted by any darker expression, put your focus on the archetypal high side potentials instead!
That Other Aspect Pattern
This Full Moon is also part of an unnamed rectangular formation. It contains two quincunxes and two semi-sextiles, and includes the luminaries, Vesta, and Pluto.
Is it time for a meaningful transformation (Pluto) in the selfless service you’re giving to a worthy cause (Vesta)? This could run the gamut from complete disengagement to dramatically increasing your support. What you choose to do will depend on the particulars of the situation.

Star of David Starts
One of astrology’s most rare and magical aspect patterns – which can be called either a Star of David or a Grand Sextile – starts today (6/24), peaks on 7/1, and ends on 7/10. It includes Venus, Mars, Ceres, Juno, Pallas Athena, and Saturn.
For starters, with the asteroid goddess Juno present, this aspect pattern harmoniously supports all types of committed partnerships. Pallas Athena makes it easier to use specific strategies and win-win communication strategies to empower these critical relationships. Saturn can help them enjoy a more solid foundation, while harmonious Venus and Mars aspects also support relationship harmony.
Venus and Mars also partner to support creative inspiration, while Ceres and Saturn can help make your artistry financially rewarding.

We close June with four astrology events in one day!
Venus Sextile Mars
I’ve already said quite a bit above about a Venus-Mars sextile (14°39′ Cancer-Taurus). To recap, it’s great for relationship harmony and creative expression, as well as emotional persuasiveness and extra endurance in both these areas.
Mars Semi-Square Neptune
You can use a Mars-Neptune semi-square (14°55′ Taurus-29°55′ Pisces) to manifest your dreams with persistent action. This aspect can also lend divine support to your financial goals and help you consistently maintain embodied awakening.
Saturn Retrograde
Saturn turns retrograde at 3:06 pm EDT (19°25′ Pisces). He’ll turn direct again on 11/15 at 12°41′ Pisces.
This is a great time to reflect on how well you embody Saturn’s positive qualities. Do you manage your time well? Are you acting maturely and responsibly? Can you “plan the work and work the plan”?
What about Saturn’s dark side? Are you working so hard that you’re neglecting your family or personal life? Is excessive ambition causing you to close your heart, or be cold and ruthless?
