Saturn Enters Aries to Stay

After a 2025 test run (5/24 thru 9/1), Saturn settles fully into Aries on 2/13 at 7:12 pm EST. This locks him into another 29-1/2 year run through the zodiac. He’ll remain in Aries for over two more years, through 4/12/28.

Saturn spent over two years in Pisces. This transit dissolved boundaries, weakened old identities, and exposed emotional and spiritual fatigue. 

Now, in Aries, Saturn starts a new 29-1/2-year cycle of identity restructuring. This works both personally and collectively.

Aries is the archetype of will, courage, and initiation – the energy of “I am.” 

Saturn rules consequences, discipline, time, and reality testing. He wants you to use your willpower to take responsibility for your existence.

A Sobering Time

Saturn in Aries is a sobering time. Where do you hesitate to assert yourself? Are there areas where you act without integrity, or have surrendered your authority to others? Where has fear blocked your initiative?

This transit can help you reassess your personal direction. You can more easily face up to your abandoned ambitions. You can confront any tendencies toward passivity or dependency. Consider whether you’re experiencing authentic confidence or faking it.

You might feel a strange mix of urgency and heaviness. It’s time to commit to a specific path.

What if you resist the energy of Saturn in Aries? You could experience irritability, burnout, or defensiveness. You could get into authority conflicts. Or you might feel blocked or delayed.

Saturn always creates challenge with a purpose. When you hit a roadblock, ask what you need to change.

Aries is the warrior. But Saturn makes this less about battle and more about command. This is the shift from reacting to choosing, from wanting to building. It’s time to become the master of your destiny, not a victim of circumstance.

Societal Effects

The societal effects of Saturn in Aries are already up in our faces. (Remember that Saturn spent over three months in Aries last year.)

New leadership archetypes are emerging. Authority structures are being challenged. Autonomy, sovereignty, and personal freedom are hot topics. And the meaning of “strength” is being tested. This is being done by both the forces of darkness and light.

But the real revolution happens internally, when you stop waiting for permission and start acting as your authentic self. 

The Bottom Line

Saturn in Aries favors:

• Long-term personal projects
• Physical discipline (bodywork, martial arts, endurance training)
• Leadership development
• Boundary-setting
• Claiming authority in an area of life, then building it slowly, correctly, and honestly

It won’t support:

• Shortcuts
• Impulsiveness
• Faking confidence instead of authentically developing it
• Avoiding difficult decisions

Saturn in Aries asks, “What are you willing to become, even if no one applauds?”

Use this transit well. You won’t just feel stronger. You will be!

Leo Full Moon

A Full Moon brightens the sky on 2/1 at 5:09 pm EST (13°3′ Leo).

Any Leo Full Moon is great for release or adjustment in your roles as a leader or entertainer. How are you relating with children and connecting with your inner child? Are you enjoying a healthy amount of rest, recreation, and fun?

Aspects

This Full Moon has a sprinkling of aspects.

Vesta

A tight Moon-Vesta opposition invites you to reflect on any selfless service you’re giving to a higher cause. Are any changes needed in whom you’re supporting, or how you’re doing it?

Mars

A moderately strong Moon-Mars opposition invites adjustment on your actions as a warrior, pioneer, sexual being, or entrepreneur. What changes would help you in these areas?

With Mars in Aquarius, can you dynamically express your individuality within these roles, electrifying others and yourself? And can you let your intuitive hits guide you?

Finally, Mars can add primal power to any of your Full Moon goals!

Venus and Juno: Relationships

The Moon is loosely opposite Venus and tightly quincunx Juno. This spotlights all important relationships (Venus) and committed partnerships (Juno).

With Venus in Aquarius, it’s a good time to connect with unusual people who stimulate and electrify you. Connect with several if you can, individually or as part of groups you vibe with.

With Juno in Capricorn, cultivate stability, maturity, and productivity in your committed partnerships. What wisdom can you share with each other?

The opposition (with Venus) is the aspect of relationships. The quincunx (with Juno) is the aspect of adjustment. And Full Moons support release and adjustment.

Other Venus Meanings

Aquarian Venus supports unconventional creativity. If it excites you, do it!

Venus also represents money, making this a good time to think outside the box with your finances. While an innovative approach could be financially rewarding, don’t skimp on due diligence.

Ceres

This Full Moon’s final aspect is a tight Ceres trine. Ceres is the grain goddess, associated with harvest, so this aspect could support an easier financial flow. This trine could also smooth any trauma healing you’re doing.

Sabian Symbol

This Full Moon’s Sabian Symbol is, “Cherub-like, a human soul whispers into every receptive ear, seeking to manifest.”

Taken literally, this symbol shows a discarnate soul seeking human parents so it can incarnate. At least that’s conceivable.

Metaphorically, this symbol can represent your intuition offering guidance. I’ve had hundreds of clients confirm that things go better when they follow these inner promptings.

There’s absolute certainty the instant true intuition hits. Your body feeling confirms it. You might say that you have a gut feeling, know it in your bones, or have a full-body yes. Your mind doubting it afterward doesn’t invalidate it when it meets these criteria.

Uranus Direct

Uranus turns direct on 2/3 at 9:33 pm EST (27°27′ Taurus). Our strangest planet has been retrograde for nearly five months, since 9/6 (1°27′ Gemini).

Uranus’ direct station is a great time to act on its positive potentials!

How completely are you embracing what’s unique or different about yourself? And how avidly are you sharing those special gifts and talents with the world?

Is it more important to avoid possible criticism from those who don’t understand you? Or is it time to put yourself out there so you can reach those you’re here to serve?

Uranus rules intuitive hits. When you get these “gut feelings,” do you follow or ignore them?

T-Square Amplifies Abundance and Relationships

A multi-week T-Square with Ceres, Juno, and Jupiter can expand both challenge and opportunity in your finances and relationships. It started on 1/22, peaks on 2/10, and ends on 3/2.

Juno represents committed partnerships. The grain goddess Ceres can represent both abundance and trauma. Jupiter amplifies their potentials. And any challenge the T-Square stirs up can unlock life-affirming breakthroughs once you master the situation!

Relationship Challenge

Many people will experience this T-Square’s energy as challenge arising in a committed partnership. This could be romantic, but could be any important ongoing connection.

With Juno in Capricorn, can you give your committed partnership a more solid foundation? Is it practical and productive? Are you both being mature and responsible?

In the famous myth, Ceres suffered tremendous emotional pain after Pluto dragged her daughter Persephone down to the underworld. This is why Ceres can represent trauma – as well as its ultimate healing.

Jupiter, in addition to being a natural amplifier, boosts emotional intensity in the sign of Cancer.

All this means that a committed partner might get you emotionally upset. When this happens, the smart move is to use an effective shadow work technique to clear that old trauma once and for all.

Enhanced Abundance Through Cooperation

You can also use this T-Square to boost your abundance by working with a committed partner.

From this perspective, Juno is in Capricorn, the sign of business and practical results. Ceres represents harvest and abundance, fired up by her placement in go-getter Aries. And Jupiter amplifies this abundance by drawing on his ancient identity as the “Great Benefic” – the luckiest planet in the sky!

Mercury

Mercury makes mostly minor aspects to slower planets 2/2 through 2/9. But the Uranus square on 2/5 can sharpen your mind. And you can enjoy more intuitive flow after Mercury enters Pisces on 2/6.

Beyond that, these lesser aspects can help a bit with your ability to think, learn, write, teach, and communicate.
