Virgo Lunar Eclipse
A total lunar eclipse, or “blood moon,” will line up on 3/3 at 6:38 am EST (12°53′ Virgo). Its Wedge aspect pattern includes seven planets and points!
Viewing Info
This eclipse will be visible from North America, western South America, the Pacific, Australia, and East Asia. A partial eclipse starts at 4:50 am, while totality lasts from 6:04 am to 7:02 am (EST, approximate times).
A lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon. A standard lunation is good for two weeks, but eclipse effects last at least six months!
Full Moons are great for any kind of release or adjustment. In Virgo, you have special support for changes in your service, and how you support health for yourself or others. You can also focus productively on editing, refinement, improvement, and organizing.
Aspects
This lunar eclipse’s aspects form a Wedge aspect pattern. The Moon conjoins the South Node, opposes the Sun, North Node, Mercury, and Pallas Athena, and sextiles Jupiter.
The Moon and Sun are about four degrees from the lunar nodes, close enough to create a total lunar eclipse. This gives this eclipse significant power!
Pallas Athena
The Moon opposes Pallas Athena, with a tight orb of about half a degree.
Pallas represents your creative intelligence, strategic thinking, and independent spirit. The Warrior Goddess can help you solve problems, recognize patterns, and fight for your ideals.
Unlike Mars, who might default to conflict, Pallas is the “peaceful warrior.” She uses logic, planning, and expert maneuvering to prevail or – even better – achieve win-win outcomes!
Mercury
The Moon loosely opposes Mercury. What changes would help you think, learn, teach, write, or communicate better?
Mercury is in Pisces. This placement can open your mind to more intuitive flow, which could include channeling information for others or yourself. It can also let new ideas come through, since Pisces rules inspired creativity.
Jupiter and the Wedge
In a Wedge aspect pattern, the opposing planets create tension. This tension is resolved at Jupiter, the apex planet.
Jupiter represents hope and optimism, as well as new adventures. He represents the endless quest for higher wisdom, and sharing it once you have it. Your journey could take you to foreign lands. These could literally be other nations, or anything that’s “foreign” to you.
Jupiter is in Cancer, which rules emotions. Mercury and Jupiter love to engage your brain, but be sure to also consider the yearnings of your heart!
Sabian Symbol
This lunar eclipse’s Sabian Symbol is, “A powerful statesman overcomes a state of political hysteria.”
Many people and organizations are working on this now. One example of bipartisan political leaders promoting unity is Josh Shapiro, the Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania, publicly joining with Republican counterparts like Governor Spencer Cox of Utah.
Together, they’re calling for condemnation of political violence and for restoring healthier political discourse at national forums. Their joint messaging emphasizes our shared humanity and mutual respect over partisan escalation.
Similar work is being carried forward by organizations such as Unite America, the Forward Party, the Millennial Action Project, and Interfaith America.
This symbol’s “powerful statesman” is not one person, but many. And you can do your part!
Any little thing you can do to foster peace, harmony, and mutual respect, anywhere at all, can help harmonize the political climate. Everything is connected, and everything you do affects collective consciousness to some degree.
Be part of the solution. It feels great!

Jupiter Direct
Jupiter turns direct on 3/10 at 11:30 pm EDT (15°5’ Cancer). Our solar system’s largest gas giant turned retrograde four months ago on 11/11 (25°9’ Cancer).
The planet of wisdom, growth, and abundance invites you to take action on your emotional and spiritual foundations. The sign of Cancer, attuned to family and emotional security, encourages you to nurture what already exists rather than chase new horizons. It’s a great time to cultivate depth, clarity, and alignment with your core values.
Do your ambitions reflect your inner truth, or have they been shaped by others’ expectations? This is a great time to focus on financial planning, education, or spiritual direction. What kind of growth authentically nourishes you?
Spiritual practices can take on new significance. Cancer’s emotionally informed wisdom partners beautifully with Jupiter’s philosophical depth. Consider exploring dreamwork, ancestral healing, or teachings that reconnect you with emotional wisdom. Expand inward to connect more profoundly to your soul and the unseen currents that guide you.
Relationships, especially those rooted in biological or chosen family, also come into focus. Jupiter in Cancer enhances empathy and emotional generosity, offering opportunities to heal old wounds and strengthen bonds.
This is a time for both giving and receiving care, recognizing the sacredness of emotional reciprocity, and honoring the wisdom that emerges from vulnerability.
Relationship Opportunities from Venus and Juno
Three overlapping aspect patterns bring relationships front and center throughout the first half of March: two Minor Grand Trines and a Thor’s Hammer.
Venus and Juno focus this energy into relationships. Venus covers all important relationships, while Juno narrows the focus to committed partnerships. These connections could involve romance, marriage, family, friends, business connections, or open enemies.
These three aspect patterns connect Venus and Juno with Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the South Node. That’s a lot of energy focused into relationships!
You can use these connections to make great relationships even better. If a relationship is toxic, you can let it go or minimize contact. If it’s a “mixed bag” relationship, you can decide whether to let it go or try to improve it. You may find my relationship post helpful in making this decision.
The Relationship Aspect Patterns
Here are the three aspect patterns involving Venus and Juno:
More Harmonious
Minor Grand Trine (9 days): Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Starts 3/3, peaks 3/7, ends 3/11.
Minor Grand Trine (8-½ months!): Juno, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Starts 3/11, first peak 4/6, second and strongest peak 7/23, third peak 11/5, ends 11/26.
More Challenging
Thor’s Hammer (26 days): Juno, Chiron, and the South Node. Started 2/24, peaks 3/9, ends 3/21.
Here’s my interpretation of this Thor’s Hammer from my previous forecast:
Any challenges you’re experiencing in a committed partnership could be stirred up – and possibly healed – with help from a Thor’s Hammer.
Most people think of romance when they hear “committed partnership.” But such an abiding relationship could also involve family, friendship, business, or an adversarial relationship.
The asteroid goddess Juno contributes the committed partnership theme. Chiron is the wounded healer, and can represent both the trauma getting stirred up and its ultimate healing. Chiron’s placement in Aries fires up his power.
Finally, the South Node holds the past life trauma you came to heal during this incarnation. It also offers skills you’ve developed in prior lives to accomplish this important shadow work. As a bonus, the South Node is in Virgo, the sign of healing!
As always, I recommend my free Healing Invocation to help you do your trauma healing as quickly and efficiently as possible. It’s so much easier when you let your higher self do it for you!

Fast Mover Aspects: Venus
Venus is the only significant fast mover in the first half of March. She aspects the five slowest planets 3/1 through 3/10: Chiron, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. As noted above, she forms a Minor Grand Trine, 3/3 through 3/11, with all of these planets except Chiron.
These Venus aspects can activate harmonious potentials in your relationships, and in your creative expression and finances.
Venus’s transition from Pisces to Aries on 3/6 can help you move from dreaming to doing in these areas. This is further energized by her conjunctions to Neptune and Saturn on 3/7 and 3/8. Working together, these two planets support Law of Attraction manifestation, boosting your ability to make your visions real!
Neptune and Saturn also combine to support embodied awakening. You can develop a stronger relationship (Venus) with your divine consciousness (Neptune) in your physical body (Saturn). My free Embodied Awakening Invocation can help you do this quickly and easily!
- 3/1: Venus semi-sextile Chiron (24°4′ Pisces-Aries)
