In this event, I find myself in an unprecedented and embarrassing situation. I’m so tired that I keep falling asleep while facilitating! Given that members are receiving powerful spiritual healings, this could be an unsafe situation.

I seem to have two choices: end the event or get the help I need to facilitate well. 

I choose the second option. In addition to the energy being sent to the love seat person, I lead members in an invocation to flow energy to me to support my facilitation.

Thankfully, this does the job. I regain my customary alertness and hold a safe container for the rest of the call.

This incident made clear that I must be sufficiently rested before facilitating. (I often take a power nap before facilitating, and clearly should have done so in this case.) 

On the bright side, I got to teach by example how we can keep going when our personal resources have run out. I wasn’t afraid to ask for help from the group when I needed it, and my choice to do so benefited everyone. We lift each other up!

Six members take the love seat. (I request energetic support during the third round.) They receive healing for back pain, the physical heart and mitral valve, grief, a fungal infection, upper body tension, fear of standing out, and more.

Then we discuss the importance of using the Karma-Free Safety Clause when energetic work will affect others. I share how to craft precise wording to get the specific effects you want from custom invocations, while maintaining maximum simplicity and clarity with your language. 

We also discuss the difference between invocations (instant energetic shift) vs. Law of Attraction work (eventual worldly manifestation), and how to skillfully navigate the sometimes gray zone between them. I also (with Nicole’s help) help a member craft three related custom invocations related to a recent hospital operation: for her own healing, institutional awareness of shortcomings, and better outcomes for future patients. This is intricate but rewarding.

Most members have questions, but one member has me empathically monitor and offer in-the-moment suggestions for her custom invocation. We experience how calling in something positive can spontaneously catalyze the clearing of more challenging energies.
